Why? We finished 5-7 last year with what many thought was no hope of improving past 6-6. Michigan, while going through a complete offensive over-haul, was expected to have a decent defense, so I could see them receiving more pre-season votes than us.

I agree they are stupid, but I'm glad they put them out. They give us something to talk about in those long-drawn out weeks/days before the season. That time period is SOO painful.

Losing our starting QB, wide receivers and running back won't get us in the preseason polls. We'll have to beat some good teams to get ranked.

I bet we have a consistent good defense with many less missed assignments and errors. Or offense will be fine IMO.

If we finish 5-0 we should be and ranked. Preseason probably about 30th but will move up quickly if we take care of business.
