Will the Huskers have a rare loss to a team that ends the season with a losing record?

Past losses to teams finishing below .500% (since 1962 - Devaney's first year).

1968 lost to K State 10-0 in Lincoln. . KSU finished 4-6, NU was 6-4

1992 lost to Iowa St. 19-10 in Ames with Tommie Frazier at QB. ISU finished 4-7, NU 9-3

2004 lost to K State 45-21 in Manhattan. KSU finished 4-7, NU 5-6

2007 lost to Colorado 65-51 in Boulder. CU finished 6-7 after bowl loss and NU at 5-7

2010 lost to Texas 20-13 in Lincoln and so far the Horns are 4-5. They still have to play Okie State, Florida Atlantic and Texas A&M.

Texas is 1-5 in their last 6 games with NU the only win. AAARRGGGHH

It certainly makes Colorado that much more dangerous. They have nothing to gain or lose for that matter. They almost pulled it off in 2008 and could do it again this year if we don't show up.

On another note, Virginia Tech could be the first school to make a BCS bowl with a loss to an FCS school under their belt.

Yes. Texass will have a losing record. OSU will stomp them. Florida Atlantic is a toss up for the shorttusks. aTm is highly motivated to beat them since they think UT's political clout in the state legislature sabatoged their delusional expectation to join SEC. They will be staying home this holiday season, while their fans waste their money on planes flying banners around the city. Minor Orangeblack will take some clapping lessons in the offseason and become more efficient at moving his headset microphone up and down, while maintaining a positive scowl with his hands on his knees, thus qualifying him for Offensive Coordinator.
