Realistically, the odds of a highly effective vaccine are very small.  A "sort of effective" vaccine is likely the best we're going to get...   

 

 
I am not sure what the latest odds are on a kid ruining his heart from the virus. We probably don't even know if its long term. What about the long terms effects of multiple concussions? They let them play knowing that. What about other risks of contact football? Not to mention they can still catch COVID away from the game. I just walked through the local park last night and the number of cars and HS kids hanging out in the parking lot was pretty dang high. No masks, high fives, loud music and I am sure consumption of alcohol, pot and who knows what.  And oh BTW, one of them was our future starting QB who is no longer practicing because they delayed football to the Spring.

Way too many people think with no restrictions things would be hunky dory. It's not an either or and there is evidence the economy would be worse if we just let things go.

 
No surprise ending unfortunately.  2020 can be over any day now.

I don't think the craziness is over.  Frost has said that NU might seek out it's 'own' schedule.
