Thoughts? Has Locker seen a D this good, ever? The combo of speed in the secondary combined with the tenacity of the DL and the coaching of the Pelinis?

They played some decent USC defenses when Taylor Mays, Brian Cushing, Rey Maualuga, Sedrick Ellis, Clay Matthews were all there. But schematic wise, this Nebraska defense is better.

I truly believe the combo of personnel and the Pelini schemes, this will be the best. We've made some pretty good QB's look like total fools. I would like to add another to the list.

We will have no idea about that until after the game. This team has played no one of his ability. On the other hand they have upset some ranked teams and lost a lot of games. Let's wait till we shut him down before claiming a title of "best" anything.

True, but I and I am sure most of us Husker fans still worry about a relapse to 2007, that year was so bad defensively I dont know that I will ever fully get it out of my mind. Everytime we take the field I have flashbacks of that seasons D. I wonder if there is any government program that I could get help for that. I liken it to PTSD.

So true. I remember people talking about how Arizona with a month to prepare would have some success against our D. And I was a little worried even though last year's D was ridiculously awesome.
