wouldn't matter because we went on 4th and one and ran a trap play or whatever that mess was- another lost opportunity - the more we change the more it stays the same

Bingo, you win. Any OC is going to struggle with no OL.

But an OC can help himself by being situational aware.  Satt gives himself no chance to be successful by putting himself in obvious pass situations in which the defense can pin its ears back to defend it straight up or blitzing in which NU's stellar OLine is put on full display.

Yes a better line makes any OC look great, but not giving your team a chance to be successful and thus predictable in turn makes you look hapless more often than not

We don't have a bunch of play makers on this team. Beletnikoff and Largent would get the ball...just throw it their way. Didn't need to be wide open and perfect pass...just throw it their way.

It seems to be ingrained in our DNA that we leave somewhere from 3-7 points on the field in the first half and then inevitably end up trailing by 3-7 points late on our last drive.
