It's a good thing for the angry boosters that they got rid of Pelini when they did. Sizing up the competition we've faced this year, I think we'd be 6-0 and they'd have a really tough time cutting him loose.

No way in hell we'd be 2-4 with pelini. Probably 5-1 or 6-0.

If we spent the massive amount we're using on buyouts for staffing improvements we'd definitely be undefeated. It doesn't just get down to a regime change or accepting the rut we were stuck in. Ditch Ells, move Paps to LB/ST's, and bring in a top-notch DC and you have a whole new defense. O could have been improved too by replacing Cotton.
