The athletic department has actually encouraged fans to wear black.

I wouldn't mind seeing us have a Memorial Stadium 'b*******' or seeing an alternate 'blackshirt' jersey or helmet for the defense.

Same thing with Wisconsin, and possibly Ohio State and Indiana--wear black.

BTW, I really did have some red longjohns like that. Not for gameday--well, not outside the house anyway. But I can't find them. I'm pretty sure my wife threw them away.

Me and my buddies are getting green shirts from Dorthy Lynch. They have the Dorthy logo on the front and we are putting a big "N" on the back. We just wanted to stand out and represent something from Nebraska in the process. The shirts are free, so we were happy.

So, is Jim Rose traveling with you? That commercial makes me want to bust a bottle over his head!!!!

Don't have tickets yet as I'm a broke student, but I'll be in Madison trying to find some on game day. Me and my boy from NYC are going to be in Black. (well red first so I can get cheaper tickets)

SPORTS NIGHTLY just broke out on facebook, saying that is was TOM OSBORNE that said we should wear black. Uh oh does this mean he's gunna get thrown under the bus now?

WEAR BLACK!! The man responsible for our entire proud tradition has said so.

The only time I've ever seen anyone get "thrown under the bus" for suggesting lots of fans wear black is during home games. Considering this is an away game against a team that also wears red...
