Awhile back, maybe around week 4, I was watching one of the Husker writer YT accounts, maybe HuskerOnline but not sure exactly. They were talking about Fidone in the video and in one of the replies to the video someone commented that Raiola is always missing his wide open TE. I don’t remember the guy’s name but someone surmised it was Fidone’s father from the nickname, and the guy basically admitted it in a reply. I was gonna post a screenshot on here but at the time I decided to be nice. But it was pretty embarrassing to read. Especially since Raiola and the team were playing well at the time. 

If Fidone is okay with his parents/grandparents b!^@hing on social media about this stuff then I don’t think he’s much of a grown up yet. But maybe they are immature and he’d prefer they not be embarrassing. Who knows. Maybe someone should tell them this is college football and not 6 year old tee ball. I watch Georgia every week and they yank every player who commits a penalty (I think they put them back in the next series, but there were other reasons to bench Fidone and it’s obvious DH is involved in the decision).

I do think he’s been misused/ underused.

but….

He is also part of the bad blocking  on the edge crew.

Aside from being embarrassing the post is a bad take bc both the other TE’s were productive and largely Fidone hasn’t been.

I have yet to find any value in reading anything from Will Compton or Adam Carriker.  I get it's the media cycle they are in but if I could find the collegiate equivalent of Jim Miller and Pat Kirwan's NFL show in the college game I would subscribe right away.  Always professional and a foundation of logic and reason behind everything they say.
