Longval joined Nebraska after spending one season at Iowa Western Community College, where he redshirted in 2022.

Longval went to Iowa Western after a knee injury shortened his senior season at Sioux City North High School in Iowa. In eight games as a senior, Longval completed 112-of-196 passes for 1,410 yards, and he accounted for 14 total touchdowns. In his junior season, Longval threw for nearly 1,500 yards with 17 touchdowns. Prior to his senior season, Longval competed at the Elite 11 Houston Regional, where he posted the top score at The Pro Day drill.

Let him start :smokin - I'm only half joking.  Maybe we have a guy that is not hobbled by all of his past mistakes like our top 3 QBs 

knock on wood, can it get any worse?? Doubtful. 

Regardless - the D is going to have to win one of the next 2 games.
