If I was the new coach I would clear house of the extra year guys.  Need to start the rebuild somewhere.  

It's great he is passionate and committed, but that hasn't gotten us anywhere as a team.

People act like he is some great player, but he has never even sniffed even an honorable mention all B1G.

Nelson is a great feel good story.  Nebraska born and bred.  But an irreplaceable player?  Unfortunately, no.  For all of his passion and drive, NU is still not going bowling.  And looking at yet another 3 win season. Do I hope he leaves?  No.  Suggested to leave?  No. An actual DL/LB coach might actually make him into the player he could be.  Sadly, another guy whose perceived talent has been squandered by an inept staff.
