World Cup

I met some buddies at a bar in Omaha for the Italy match, and it was actually an awesome atmosphere. There were about 50+ US fans and around 25 Italians with flags and all. The pints were flowing heavy mate. Overall it was a satisfying game, but indeed very frustrating, as we could have easily been up 1 man the entire game, and nearly scored while being down 1 - which IMO was a legit offside call on us. No doubt tho that ref should be banished as an olympic figure skating judge.

Looking fwd to another high energy match outta our boys tomorrow morn. Ghana looked like a world beater against the CR, but they will be down 2 of their top playas, and we should be hungry so this will be very winnable for us. Well better get to bed so I can be rested up for my traditional futbol gameday hooliganism. :box Those kstate fans wont know what hit em.. :wasted oi oi oi

Good lord, this is a joke. Beasley nonexistant. Donavan nonexistant. Ghana almost scores again. Why the hell are these guys even playing? They obviously shouldn't be out there, but is there anyone to replace them? Heads need to roll after the US tanks this World Cup. The US can't even get near the net, let alone a scoring chance.

 
Way to go Donavan...you only missed the goal by about 68 feet.

Well, US just got hosed big time.

2-1 Ghana. These refs must all be Iraqis or something.

If Bush cared about Soccer, he'd send a missle 'astray' to the World Cup Referee housing unit. These guys completely suck. Wait 'til you see why they gave Ghana a penalty kick. f-ing phenomenal. :bang

What a beautiful freakin goal. Beasley finally produced and Dempsey got the ball every striker dreams of, and finished huge. very happy for Clint. he looked like he was in another world.
