The hiring of Eichorst was a bad call, as well. This wasn't a call in a game but the worst call might have been Eichorst's call to Riley. Horrible call.![]()

This call cost PSU a game between two middling teams that were going nowhere. The 82 game resulted in them getting a National Championship when it should have been ours. Not to mention Penn State should burn in hell anyway.
We got boned pretty hard in that game not even counting the time being put back on. The main one being that Texas never scored a touchdown in that game.southernoregonhusker said:I thought it was the right call. Had it not hit that damn handrail.

Those videos were just depressing. Thanks. I don't think I will ever reach the acceptance stage of the Riley era.Redux said:Thanks for the memories Mike Riley, you worthless bag of sprinkled dog doodoo.

Think of it the way I do: Without the 3yr Riley era, it's highly unlikely we ever get Scott Frost. All thr pieces fell perfectly into place, so in the end we suffered for a greater good.
