The question is.....is it the ONLY example you have?

How about any generic run play Melvin Gordon ran in 2014?  How about games against OU and Mizzou in 2008 where they basically did anything they wanted?  How about Iowa State 2009 where it was an invisible man apparantely knocking balls out of players hands?  How about that Washington Bowl game debacle?  How about Michigan 2011?  How about Ohio State 2012?

Granted most of these are not one single play over and over, I'm far too tired to look into it very hard at the moment.  But the commom theme is one issue in these games whether it be a play we can't defend, karma, a player we can't stop etc.  It's not being able to assess and adjust and be competitive.

Why does he need multiple examples (although they're obviously there)? The fact it was ONE play over and over with no adjustments IS. THE. POINT.

i.e. - when a team can use the same play over and over and still get huge chunk plays off of it, there aren't many examples available.

No "argument" needed......

Especially when Frost knows "the guy" pretty well.

I'm glad the Riley era is over and Frosty is here.  You?

Yes, but we are in a topic about Pelini so it's kinda silly to talk about changing the subject.

It was a terrible argument. Ask Pelini's mom about it while you're at it. Frost hasn't even really been that mean about Riley. He's not going to be negative about Pelini, either.

I voted for 2012 Wisconsin CCG because that's probably right.  I feel like 2014 Minnesota, while not the worst, deserves some mention.  Going up 21-7 and then just laying a big ol' turd on the field in the second half against a team that while not super-fast or talented was just so much better in the coaching department  :flush  That was when I was officially cool with firing Bo.

OMFG...You made me go look and I started randomly with 2013.

I got two drives into the season and you know what PTSD I got? Double set receivers, halfback motion, flare pass to the flat. 5 yards every time, sometimes 40. All...year....long...uggggghhhhhh.
Stupid UCLA

We remember how easily Wisconsin ran all over us, so sometimes we forget when they passed all over us.

They let Joel Stave throw 50 times one game because hey, why not?

The worst loss is the millions of dollars we’ve had to pay that dough brain.... all while he hangs out at Youngstown recruiting a rapist to play on his team.

Nice unnecessary dig......but it's likely I'm not the only one who knows (or watched) Davie get ripped by Pelini.

I don't remember where I read it, but someone wrote schematically why Pelini was upset with Davie.
This was the exact moment I wanted Bo fired.

He  wouldn’t let up on that kid until his face was buried in his hands.  It wasn’t coaching, it was personal.

Bo followed him around for what seemed like minutes. Screaming cussing yelling dogging embarrassing him until the kid broke.

I knew Bo couldn’t do what he wanted to get kids to play his scheme at that moment and wanted better for the players. It was ugly.

That loss sealed it for me.

Every time Pelini comes up in a conversation (this is a rare occasion, maybe once a year) and my mom is around, she talks about this moment. She's not a serious football fan but she hated Pelini for what he did to Davie in that game.

Anyway, that was the loss for me as well. I remember being very hopeful about Nebraska's season leading up to this game. I thought we could maybe go on to win the conference championship. Then we got blown out again and I just felt Pelini wouldn't be able to do it. Then later on I wished he'd been fired the year before.
