I wouldn't mind Texas tech simply for the recruiting footprint and their teams are decent.

This exactly.  It has nothing to do with our record against them.  It has everything to do with their history of ruining conferences.

Oklahoma chose their rival decades ago and it has served them well.  I have no need for them and never need to play them again.

Texas can E.A.B.O.D  -  If you ever watched the show Archer, you know what this means.

I do not wish to ever be in a conference with Texas ever again...OU would be a package deal with their little sister OSU- I believe that is a law set-up by their state legislature.  I do not recall if KU/KSU have same deal- I was thinking they might.
