They also have UT losing to Tech......

Tech losing to OU and Kansas

I really wouldn't doubt any of those predictions. I think the Huskers CAN finish much stronger than that, but look at it from the perspective of an outsider. The Huskers have earned a 6-6 prediction thus far from a non-partisan writer.

 
The national guys don't watch Nebraska each week and I don't believe they have a clue that we are improving from game to game. That's not to say we aren't capable of losing some of our remaining games, but I also think we are capable of winning all of our remaining games, we just need to go out and, well you know...

i'd say that its more likely that the writer hasnt seen us play after the MU game and is just guessing.

if we have earned a win this year its against a KSU team that we blasted last year

Doesn't the KSU game worry you? It just seems like a team that we are over looking. Don't have a good feel for that game, even though I have said we will beat then on other posts. KSU has to much of a spoiler roll in that one. I still think we should win it, just not as easy as we all seem to think, if the Huskers aren't on top of their game.

Not really. I mean I am somewhat concerned with all of the games.... but just because fans are overlooking them doesnt mean the team is.

He also picked us to go 7-5 at the beginning of the season, with a win over VT. Basically, he hasn't changed his prediction at all.

 
If I were a national sportswriter who wasn't committed to following a medium-talented team each week and watched them struggle and lose at home to two ranked teams, I'd probably say 6-6 also. Actually I do follow this team and 6-6 isn't unreasonable, neither is 8-4.

 
In the end, aren't we all just guessing? Who would have thought Okie State beats Mizzou? Who would have thought Bama crushes Georgia? We're all just guessing just like the guy making the above predictions. We could go anywhere from 0-6 to 6-0 the remainder of the season.

 
Personally, I'm not worried about KSUcks because they are worse this year than they were last from what I've seen and we all know what happened last season.

 
After we ran up the score on KState last year I was worried about them circling the date on their calendar this year. Special teams could tip in their favor, but if we control the tempo on offense then NU should win by two TDs. Prince is done after this year.

I need to stop making predictions.

 
I can almost handle any loss at this point but cupcake u.. I love watching Josh Freemen get his butt kicked every year by us and I hope it never changes an he never finds a win agaisnt us.. I dont think he will..
