EVERY TIME! Far too many times has my heart been ripped out and stomped on by these last second give aways. Texas Tech 2005, last second touchdown AFTER WE INTERCEPTED IT! Texas 2006, NUNN FUMBLE! Texas 2007, we had the game in our hands.... Texas Tech last year, you all know. Is our great state CURSED!!?!?!?!?!?

Will we ever break out of this slump? Just one time I want to come out on the winning side of one of these freaking thrillers. Every time it is the same ending, with us on the losing side.

My FAVORITE part about the game was scoring 2 touchdowns on one drive and then ending up having to PUNT! From 1st and goal at the 6 to 4th and goal at the 42.... so saaaaaaad.

Defense. GOOD WORK! That is the kind of effort we need every week. KEEP IT UP! If only our offense and more specifically ZAC LEE.... could have found any kind of rhythm and this wouldn't have even been close. How do you come out and get sooo raddled, good lord. If you can't pass, just keep giving the ball to our sick a$$ running backs! 180 + yards rushing and we still lose. Another heartbreaker in the books... If only I had a fifth of jack right about now!

How about someone mentioning our mediocred WR's? The next time one of them makes a tough catch will be the first time. Holt basically dropped 2 TD's today. Paul dropped at least 2 passes that hit him in the hands. Yes Lee played poorly today but our WR's didn't help him at all. I wondered when we would really miss Swift and Pederson and today I found out.

 
I still can't get over the pass to Holt in the endzone, he catches it and drops it when he hits the ground. HOW DO YOU DROP THAT!?!?! That is the game. He makes that catch and the game is over, VT going home sad. Instead, we are responsible for one of the biggest parties in Blacksburg in recent history... thanks! Nate Swift would have held that like it was the most precious thing on the planet. I am so sick of everyone talking up Niles Paul. We have all witnessed today just exactly how slow he is today and enough is enough. When are we going to get some speed on kick returns... say... Gilleylen, obviously the fastest player. Put him IN!
