Assessing the talent: Walker is on a high school team that may have as many as 6 D-1 athletes. As a junior Walker after posting 25 catches for 452 yards and nine touchdowns.

Odds of becoming a Cornhusker: 10% This is staring to remind me of the Tallahassee five that the Huskers recruited a couple of years ago. WE may get one, we may get none, we get them all. Remember, this is Blake country.

Is it even worth recruiting guys like this if we are up against these odds.. shouldn't we spend our time and money on more likely commits

No. You don't get the best atheletes if you don't go up against the best recruiting schools.

You don't get guys like Lucky and Dillard, if you shy away from other elite teams. You got to chalenge the best.

This will come down to a U.S. Army All American game fight between Ole Miss and Nebraska. Ole miss coach George Delone and NU's John Blake are recruiting the hell out of him but honestly, the instate team has the upper hand in this game. He's as good as committed to Ole Miss, but in the world of recruiting, anything can happen

Allen said that he wants to leave the state to play football. It sounds like he has his heart set on leaving Mississippi.

If his buddies chose Florida, that's where he will goes as well.

In the wacky world of college recruiting, one minute it can look like a recruit is not considering us, the next minute it can be a different story. Sounds like Walker might be favoring Florida at the moment. He seems to have struck up a friendship with another Florida recruit

Walker received an invitation to try out for the U.S Army All American game. I will update the other threads of recruits Nebraska is recruiting that have gotton U.S Army invitations

Honestly, i would put our odds up at 50% at the moment. It's a 50/50 shot between us and Florida at the moment. He's been high on NU for a while. Just suprised it took him this long to schedule a visit.
