WR Jacob Amie

... so... not final, huh?

maybe billy c. and the boyz are gonna play a game of "GRAND THEFT WIDE RECIEVER".

According to Duane Rossiter, this kid does NOT sound like he's a strong verbal for TT. In fact, Rossiter calls him the softest verbal in the nation.

Sounds like we are still VERY much in the running.

Also, he will NOT be in town this weekend. He's coming in October, it sounds like.

Scholarships offered: Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, Colorado, Colorado State, Nebraska, Rice, Texas A&M, Kansas State, Baylor, UTEP, Missouri

Favorites: Committed to Texas Tech

Rankings/Stars:

Rivals: #41/ :star :star :star

Bid Red Report:NR/ :star :star :star

Assessing the talent: Would be a very nice compliment to the West Coast offense. Big and rangy. Not a burner, but consistent with his hands.

Odds of becoming a Cornhusker: 50% Goes way up after visit.

This is straight off rivals...

Jacob Amie had promised to refrain from making a commitment to the Husker coaching staff, no matter how much he enjoyed his trip to Lincoln over the weekend. Though, the 6-foot-4, 225-pound tight end/receiver out of Tyler (Texas) Lee was able to keep his pledge, he admits that 'holding back' was a bit more difficult than anticipated.

Sounds like he's all but ours right now, with only a soft verbal to Texas Tech this should change soon :bonez
