There's not a lot to go off of on Twitter. What smoke is coming from Lincoln? Benning mentioned a little bit on 1620 this morning, but didn't elaborate.

 
No one knows anything besides what's been on twitter and how his recruitment has gone. It's the last dead period so it's unfortunate the coaches can't talk to him.

 
He's still committed to N. Problem is, Leach isn't going to give up if he likes him enough. And his family is probably in his ear. Hopefully cooler heads prevail and we keep him.

On Sharp and Benning this am they interviewed Brandon Reily (who knew he runs a 4.4 40?). After JC picked OSU at the Army All Star game, BR asked him why? Reily said that JC told him that he just wanted to see if NU really loved him. Can we be seeing a bit of this now? Who knows.....

Calvin is clearly dealing with family issues with picking Nebraska... That isnt going away.

Who knows where this ends up but i think the kid needs to stop committing places and just wait till signing day to make a choice.

Wasn't it Noah Fant last year that was like "I want Nebraksa to show me more love".. and I think the coaches probably had enough of him and cooled.

I guess that might have been one way to look at it.

But it's pretty accepted that Hughes just blew it (for whatever reason) and Riley tried to salvage it late but it didn't work.

I get that many posters thinks he could end up being similiar to Grim, but what exactly are we able to do about it?

The only thing we could do about it, is just pull his offer now... We've gotta decide if we want this kid or not. If we do, we are at his mercy as far as being a "Grim situation." So if we take him, we may as well drop the whole Grim shtick.

 
How many times has there been a "grim situation"? It does happen but I'd assume it's rare. Can we stop comparing this kid to a freak incident from last year. They aren't even close to the same circumstances.
