Remember this kid said he was committing but his recruitment wasn't done. Not sure he will flip to being a Husker but this seemed like a decision made on a whim and I could see him ending up somewhere else on signing day...

OSU has a hell of a WRs coach, remember. He was top priority for many Husker fans among Beavers assistants when Riley was hired, and chose to stay.

Tough miss, regardless.

Jamire really didn't look like he wanted to commit to OSU. Mom looked like she was saying "it'll be okay, it'll be okay". Didn't exactly look like tears of joy while turning away from the camera.

Also our second loss for a big WR target to OSU.

If you're thinking of the guy that was there with Riley he left to be a HC.

How low have we fallen as a program when Oregon State beats us for a recruit.................
How far have we fallen as a program when we hire their coach...
By that logic, how far has Notre Dame and Alabama fallen (their hats were on the table too) if Oregon State beat them for a recruit?
Yeah, I am sure Bama is super worried. Saban probably didn't even know they offered him.

Oh, okay. Well, I clearly don't keep up with things. Never mind

Here's what I don't get about the "staying on the West coast" thing: Is it really that closer from LA to Corvallis vs Lincoln? Couple hour flight to Portland then drive 1+ hours to Corvallis.

And Corvallis is nothing like LA
But it's closer than Nebraska. A two hour flight from LA into Eugene. 35 minute drive to OSU. Plus, his mom can drive to USC, UCLA, Stanford or Cal to watch her son play.
