You know who else are true freshmen?  Jonathan Taylor.  JK Dobbins.

Those guys are among the leading rushers in the COUNTRY.  Not eighth on their team in yards from scrimmage.

 
Yes, I think we're all aware that there exist true freshmen who are breakout stars at the national level.

If they're not that, playing them is a sign of wasted management? C'mon.

 
Up until the last 2 games Lindsey had at least one play a game where it is designed to get him the ball from what I've seen. against Wisconsin he would have had a pretty nice gain on a catch had Tanner thrown a rope instead of a floater. He is running routes and he does have quick plays called just for him. He will grow from this. I really don't see the problem, getting the ball or not, playing game reps should help you in the future.
