The bolded, would hurt his chances of even being on the team. However, my thoughts on the discussion are as though he qualifies and is on the team.  As others have said, supposedly he's made good strides on his academics.  

I don't expect any player to contribute as much as Wandale has this year.  He walked into a situation where he's a great player and pretty much an open spot on the roster for a player like him.  However, that would pertain to a big receiver like Betts too.  We don't have any that contributed this year.  Not being an early enrollee is a valid point.  However, I would suspect his position is one that can contribute slowly at the beginning of the year and build as they learn the offense.
