I think we've shown (through our losses) that college football is shifting away from position recruiting to more "get the best damn athletes you can and figure out what to do with them once they are here". IE - Ohio State (Samuels) and Michigan (Peppers).

I agree to a point. We desperately need OL. We can bring in all of these guys, but if we cannot protect the QB or make some holes/lanes for these types of athletes it won't matter.

As of now only interested in "home run" guys...ex: Sarell, Banks, Filiaga (the 3 we are currently chasing hardest).
 
I haven't heard he has off the field issues. I've heard OSU would like to have him, but they don't have the scholarships available to offer him one right now. I've also read that no one from Nebraska has made contact with his coach and the coach is kinda sour about that. I read that this morning FWIW.

I was going to post this same thing. We read the same article this am.

BTW, I want this kid on board. We need to upgrade the LOS on both sides and then get playmakers. I think the staff is doing just that, but we gotta start landing some of these dudes.

Kid looks shifty. I'd really like to get an understanding of his 40 time. All I could find was Scout at 4.55. Take him as a slot WR and returner...is that what we are projecting him as?
