Assessing the talent: Brooks is a ton of fun to watch on film. An amazing athlete who played running back, quarterback, cornerback, wide receiver and kick returner…and played all them well. Very exciting player with the ball in his hand. He looks very natural at all positions. Brooks had 43 catches for 778 yards and 13 touchdowns.

Odds of becoming a Cornhusker: 15% Still wide open.

Per Rivals, he is happy that we are also recruiting his HS teammate, S Bret Harris.

He counts Nebraska, Florida, LSU, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Kansas State and Notre Dame as his favorites, but only Nebraska and Arkansas are recruiting Harris, currently.

Both will be in town for the UT game.

We've got a decent shot at this kid.

Bruce Feldman was on 1620 earlier in the week and said the addition of Keller may benefit in getting some top WR prospects even if he would be throwing to them for only one year. That may be on Brooks mind as well.

Then if we have top WRs then that might entice a bluechip QB to sign in the future. Piece by piece they will fall into place.... :wootx2
