not only that, but takes away one end of the field for any back corner fades...i mean, you cant climb up a wall and make a catch in football like in baseball. no tiptoe catches in that corner of the field.

I remember watching Bears games at Wrigley (on TV) as a kid and how close the real brick wall (no padding) was. Someone in the comments in the link said one end zone (or maybe both) were actually only 8 yards deep back then.

Thats sweet how the FG posts are right on the bleachers but agreed seems dangerous having the endzone right next to the wall. It will be interesting to watch

So if the ball lands in the basket it is a field goal? Like it's a homer in baseball. Seriously why do this. That is hallowed ground that you are screwing with. Plus as a die hard Cubbie, it is bad enough watching my crappy team play there 80+ days out of the year but now these two history strapped football dumps get to disappoint those in the seats in November. Come on. The hockey game was too much, this pushes me over the top. And for good measure I will add f*** you Ricketts family. Only you and that fat toad could screw things uplike this. By the way Ryno also sends his f*** you.

fail?

both teams to use same endzone for offensive series, have to change sidelines at half.

Just saw this. That is awesome. God is telling people that this game should never have been thought about playing in Wrigley. This is fail in EPIC PORPORTIONS. I love it.

Well thats rough. Now wind wont really play as an advantage for one team or another at the friendly confines

the more i think this through...why go through the hassle of changing sidelines? whats the difference...i look right, or i look left? its not like its a true home game for either team. can somebody help me with this? am i missing something?

LOL WTH is this a pickup game? I undrstand player safety but really a multi million dollar partnership, like this and nobody made sure the field was big enough.

I smell a formal protest from the losing team after this one. Seriously should this game even actually count in Big Ten records. It is being played in "unnatural" circumstances. This could actually also go down as the longest four quarter game in the history because of the changes in the field. But still I laugh. Good to see the Cubs themselves aren't the only clowns that can bumble and drop a game in Wrigley.
