WTH DirecTV again?

I was just scanning ahead to check out the game and to make sure that I can watch it. According to my DTV guide, 2:30 tomorrow on ABC is Texas A&M vs. Iowa State. The only channel that carries the Husker game is 397 which is... get this... ABC West. Why the hell would the West Coast want to watch Nebraska v. Minnesota?

This better be one of those stupid glitches or something.

Is this one of those things that I'll have to jimmy rig an antenna for so I can get ABC over the air?

Help me.

It's either on ABC or ESPN2 everywhere in the US. Which channel is determined by location, not by DirectTV.

Just checked my Dish guide and on ESPN2 (stupid Sioux City taking the Iowa State game) it shows just Nebraska at Minnesota.

My DirecTV says the same thing, but I know the game is going to be on our local ABC affiliate because I work there. I don't know what's up with DirecTV's guide.

Dish says the same, The game didnt even show up on search..

So either it will change before the game, or the game will just play hopefully, Texas A&M's schedule says they have a 2:30 ABC slot? so WTH.

All I know is that there will be quite a few angry people at my house if I have them over for a Husker party and we end up watching Iowa State.... oh wait... two of them graduated from there and the rest of them live in Iowa, so maybe they will be happy.

Everybody calm down. The guide says two games on one channel every week as it is this week. It will change by gametime. If you aren't getting the Nebraska game on your local ABC affiliate then you will see it on 209. Stop worrying.

OTA HD channels are actually higher quality than satellite or cable :P

I don't know what the deal is between ABC and ESPN / ESPN2 this year. On Dish, every game that has been scheduled as being on ABC in one region and ESPN / ESPN2 in another has been messed up. There is either the same game playing on both channels or the ESPN channel gets blacked out with the game being pushed onto a non-HD overflow channel.

I live in Omaha. My guide on DirecTV says that ISU is playing on ABC. ESPN 2 says either FSU or NEB. Is this accurate? This is my first week with DirectV and I have a stupid bday party to go to and I need to know which channel to DVR.
