If you ever get a chance to try this, take it. What an amazing whiskey. It's closer to many scotches because of the smokey, peaty flavor, but retains the very smooth, luscious nature of a good Irish whiskey. In way, it's something like the best of both worlds.
I should have brought something stronger to the office today. This Blizzard has basically shut everything down and all I can do is post on Huskerboard. SMH
I'm on Jim Beam Black tonight, at least for now, too. Thinking about putting together some tasting notes for various whiskeys and tossing up a thread someday. Maybe it'd help someone if they're looking for stuff to try (of course everyone tastes differently). People could add their own thoughts, etc.
