Nebraska is not only ranked, but is part of the national discussion in college football. How long has it been since that was true?

For me personally, more important is that I'm actually looking forward to Saturday's game. In the recent past I couldn't bring myself to watch us play big games because I knew what the results would be. I don't necessarily think we will win and maybe this team is no better than recent teams but I believe they will go into C-bus and make us proud. I really don't want to miss a minute of this game.

Me before the B1G championship vs Wisky: "....please don't get blown out,...please don't get blown out,....just please don-" 70-something "awwww..."

And that was after beating earlier in the year.

There was no reason to get blown out in that game so I didn't have that thought going in. Wisky was down to what their 3rd string QB and were completely one dimensional. TM's run, although spectacular was disappointing since he was running for his life. I drove home at halftime. Any big game after that I just wouldn't watch. I don't want to say the past teams quit but I think this team is well prepared, will fight to the end and play hard. I would be surprised if they ever discuss getting to 9 wins.

How flipping cool would it be to beat Ohio State 27-18 on Saturday. Been thinking about Sam and Brook this week...man...that would be freaking awesome!!

The game was on national television and on the championship stage which is why I feared a blowout.

2010 seems like it was eons ago. I hope it ends on a good note for our seniors. They've been through some crap and need a good sunset to ride out on.
