Yankees and Joba Show NU some love

Blah, baseball. The only time you see the stadium full is either during the play-offs or when someone is juicing to much.

Only good part of the game is the fights and that might be what, once every other month? Not worth watching.

Impossible to get tickets to Fenway and Im sure its impossible to get tickets to Yankee Stadium. Chicago Cubs always sell out too. And most likely the Braves. And probably many other teams. So yes, you do see the stadium full during the regular season. Believe it or not, people actually do still enjoy baseball, unbelievable, right? My brother plays pro for the Phillies Org. and I coach, so I for one, enjoy baseball and so do all the kids who play for me. And all the kids who we play against. And all the kids they play against, and apparently Bubba Starling, should I keep going, okay I'll stop, you get the point. If you don't like baseball, why bother posting something about how you'd rather watch paint dry or all that other crap, go to another thread, nobody cares if you don't like baseball.

P.S. and they have sweet beer deals at the Storm Chasers on Thursdays, so thats always fun!

When I think of Yankees fans I imagine a boxing ring, and inside of that ring is Joe Frazier and a three year old girl with a developmental disability.

All the Yankees fans are cheering for Smoking Joe.
her a$$ better learn to take a punch

Go Yankee's

Why is this thread here? Someone trying to get a lot of hits on a non football subject? Move it! Ridiculous, and I'm a Yankees fan, for 45 years.

Joba Visits his Hometown

Joba Chamberlain took us back to his hometown of Lincoln, Ne to show us what a Cornhusker football gameday was like.

Actually, the only stadiums that constently have sold out in 2011 are Philadelphia, Boston, San Fran, and Minnesota. Cubs avg about 90% but lately they have had MAJOR declining attendence issues. Yankees are less than 90%. Braves are way down towards the bottom at 59% average capacity. 2010 was similar w/ Phili, Boston, Minn selling out...few others above 90%. Baseball just can't sell out 80 home games...too many games to ask fans to fill up a stadium.

Earlier today on ESPN radio I heard an NFL Preseason game, iCarly, Jersey Shore, and Home Alone 2 all got better ratings than some pennant race MLB game haha.

I don't watch baseball that much. I follow my bros team, I follow my own team, I follow the Red Sox and if nothing else is on I will watch a game with neutral teams. But it is not torture for me to watch like some people have said here. I can stand it and can even enjoy it if it is a good game.
