wow. that was impressive. I thought our D looked really special. I think we have several guys out there that look like they could be playing on sundays. nice to see that again. you have to wonder were we would e with last years offense(which wasnt really that great)

With last year's offense we would be undefeated. No question in my mind.

 
I'm completely sold now. We finally had one of those games where we didn't give up the big play. NU was overdue one of these wins! GBR

 
They all looked in sync tonight. They swarmed to the ball, took away the cutback lanes, and pressured Landry all night. The Blackshirts looked INCREDIBLE!

There were still a lot of nay-sayers thinking "Well just how good is this defense because they haven't faced a great offense yet?"

I know Sam Bradford is out, but OU still has some of the best WR's in the country and Demarco Murray. We shut down their run game and held Jones to 26-58 passing or something like that. We are for real.

 
The Blackshirts took it to another level tonight and keep improving. Even one of the announcers mentioned how he looks forward to seeing how the defense progresses and improves over the next couple years with more time the guys will have in the system.

 
Our defense made them look rotten. Don't take away from this win. We had like what? 9 red zone stops? With the talent they have, with Murray and Brown, that is a damn impressive defense and nothing anyone says will take away from that.

Best part? The announcers said that Pelini said that the defense may be even better next year with the way Crick and the secondary have been developing. Once we get this young offense moving, look out.

 
Aarghh! I hate to say it but everytime our defense was out there I kept thinking they didn't get enough time to rest, someone is going to miss an assignment, something is going to happen!! and it did a couple of times, but that was it. We completely shut them down. Everytime I started to think negative the defense came out and told me to stfu. That simple. Nobody could have asked more out of them than what they gave us today. Watching our boys on defense today will give me memories I think I will keep for a very long time. GBR.

 
They were able to move the ball between the 20s, but when it got down to crunch time on our side of the field, the DEF stood up like men and held their own.

First time Oklahoma failed to score a TD in the Stoops era.

Amazing. Hats off to the Blackshirts.
