You are on the Playoff Selection Committee....

You are part of the Playoff Selection Committee. Who would you have for the 4 teams? Who would play whom? What would the outcome be for each game?

#1FSU vs #4 Michigan St

#2 Auburn vs #3 Baylor

Florida St over Michigan State

Baylor over Auburn

Florida St over Baylor

What is your reasoning for MSU being a lower seed than Baylor?

Other than that, I agree with the four teams that would be in.

Quality of the 1 loss. Not much more to go off than that. I originally had Alabama as #3 just like the rankings but I thought Baylor deserved it more since they won their conference. You could really flip flop them but that is what I used

#1 FSU vs #4 MSU

#2 Auburn vs #3 Alabama

FSU- Undefeated

MSU- 1 loss team, beat previously #2 OSU

Alabama- 1 loss team, lost to current #2 Auburn on freak last second play

Auburn- 1 loss team, beat previous #1 Alabama

Stanford lost to Utah, bad loss. Would be #6

Baylor lost, badly, to OSU, who lost to a mediocre OU team. Would be #5

Bama vs FSU for title, Bama wins.

Anyone excluding bama is funny. Who the hell did Baylor beat? Look at their loss.

Anyone seeing anybody beating FSU is funny. Just like the ND game last year, EVERYONE knew ND was gonna get taken to the shed. It might not be an a$$ whoopin, but I can't see Bama, or even Auburn beating FSU through 4 quarters of football this year.

That's where the debate comes in. Bama with one loss and not winning their division OR conference getting in ahead of a one loss Baylor who won their conference and lost to the #13 team in the country. Plus 2 of Alabama's wins this year came vs FCS schools. One for Baylor.

I would say Bama is still a better team than Auburn and if it was played again 10 times I think Bama wins nine of them. However, they lost and didn't win their conference title. Baylor and Michigan State are both one loss but conference champions. They get the nod.

There is no way in hell I would vote for someone who didn't win their conference to be in a 4 team playoff.
