You guys kill me

Those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it.

We had just forgotten how awful we were when Colorado ran all over us thinking "Never Again!" and yet, there were our Huskers on Saturday... doing the same thing again.

If we forget and move on, it may make us feel better, and we may be able to sleep at night and allow ourselves to go through the motions of life, but underneath the surface, we'll know that this could happen again.

We must remain vigilant. Cosgrove.... sad sad coach that he is, has much to answer for. While he should have quietly walked away after such a pathetic performance, he laid most of the blame on his players being out of position... and I'm sure the players themselves have bought into that.

We CANNOT forget what happened for the sole reason that when we play USC again, we must remember what they did to us on our home field. That cannot go unanswered.

Besides... what do we have to look forward to this week? Ball State?! I'd rather look back.

Go Huskers!!!

Thank you, I agree negatives were shown against USC, but also some positives.

What was positive about that game? That it only took 3 plays to get in the endzone instead of two?

The USC game should haunt you for at least 2 more weeks considering you were exposed as frauds.
How was Nebraska exposed as Frauds? They were not in the National Championship Race. They were not favored to win. They lost a game that they were suppose to lose on paper. Nebraska was never a contender or a pretender to be exposed as a fraud.

This guy has to be the most uneducated fan out there on the subject of the national picture and who is considered contenders.

No, I think he just gets off from trying to piss us off. Keep it up.

Well 3 weeks ago on here, you would have never known that we weren't in the National Championship Race. I believe there was even one network that actually picked NU to win the game. The Vegas odds were 9.5 to 10.5 loss. I don't know that we were necessarily exposed against USC as I believe our DL and LB's were terribly exposed against Wake. USC just looked at some film and pretty much duplicated Wake's dominance over our DL and LB's.

How soon we all forget the flaming that has gone on here the last 3 weeks of ESPN analysts calling for a blowout loss to USC. I don't know that we were exposed to a national audience last Saturday, but I do believe we were exposed to Husker Nation as to how far behind we really are. I'll have to admit I've even fallen victim to buying into the hype of this program. After the Nevada game, I was cautiously optimistic about the USC game especially because it was at home. Some of that optimism was lost in the game against Wake, but just the same I thought we could play with USC at home with our crowd.

Considering our road record is still bad, I believe every game we play away from Memorial Stadium could be a juggernaut despite how poor the team we play is perceived. The KU game scares the hell out of me as well as the Missouri and Texas game. This Saturday should be a tell tale sign of things to come. If we come out fired up and put the game away in the first half, I'll feel a lot better about the rest of the season. If we come out and see pretty much the same thing on defense as the last two weeks, then we better all start worrying.
