FYI Tony White has interviewed with SDSU. Don’t like that. If they want him he is gone.

First, teams normally go the opposite of their previous coach.  Hoke was a defensive guy, so it makes sense they would look to an offensive coach.

Second, Hoke made $1.3M last year.  We could easily match what SDSU wants to pay a HC.

Can match the pay, sure. But a lot of guys wanna lead.

Some of their interviews include the Washington OC, & UNLV OC. Think White would need a big plan to hire an impressive OC.

Also former Navy HC Ken Niumatalolo, reportedly.

AD definitely sounds like he wants offense.  Which doesn't rule out a defensive guy, as you said.

Also is an indicator of how deep the BIG10 is in defensive talent.  My goodness.

Michigan had 3 defensive tackles between the first and second teams, and honestly it's deserved. I do think Hutmacher/Robinson should have made 3rd team easily though, and there's an argument for Newsome and Gifford.
