Your 2026 Nebraska Cornhuskers

How about Princewell U flourishing at Ole Miss as our guys are stagnant

Yes, losing Princewill definitely wound up being a big deal. Ugh.

And Rhule really hasn’t developed a D linemen that he brought in for three seasons now.

This staff coasted on Ty and Nash coming back and then took a big hit with White leaving.

Who should have been developing them prior to this year?

Matt Rhule’s oversight. I’m saying, the guys that left aren’t on Rhule, he can’t help that without contracts.

But how is there nobody else? Whether it’s developing high school players or getting D linemen through the portal.

He coasted on the two upperclassmen and now it’s a quagmire.

You are correct, there was/is a large gap between Ty and Nash and what was left in the cupboard. Additionally, we were banking “literally” on getting a few portal guys on the dline last year and struck out. I honestly believe this was why Rhule was so adamant about increasing the $$$. We got outbid last year in certain areas, dline being one of them and it was costly on the field.

Ummm….maybe their position coach and coordinator too?

Sure, of course. Hopefully it isn’t a super controversial take though to say that, under Rhule’s oversight, the defensive front six has been woefully underdeveloped and has underperformed terribly.
Sure. And he’s making changes to fix it.
