I’d like to hear more from these two camps:

1. Question 1 - no coaching changes after the year is dependent on how we finish. Personally, I’ve seen enough from Foley, Sartterfield, and McGuire to push an exit. 
 

2.  Question 2 - 3 years is not enough for Rhule to lose support if we go 5-7 (or around) the next two years.

I answered that way simply because it is possible they turn things around and finish the season strong.  If those you mention, or others, make significant improvement over the next 5 games, I think it is worth retaining those individuals.  They are all experienced, intelligent coaches capable of making positive adjustments.  I personally don't care for Satterfield's strategy because I don't believe it will work long term in the B1G but I also realize I'm not qualified to truly judge the guy so I'll wait and see.

 
From 1000ft perspective

-Satt needs to be demoted, again. 
-Barthel is a maybe

-McGuire might become a good coach, but something ain’t right. How many penalties can #4 commit attempting to block?

-Butler, the secondary getting shredded is embarrassing. 
 

The defense getting gutted first drive and the game was over as Barney caught the kickoff OB at the 1.

Defense can’t sustain against good teams when offense continues to fail. 
 

Saturday looked more like a psychological loss than a talent loss. That’s a problem with how they’re being coached Sunday-Friday.

There was a good comment about cannot fire your way to success, which it makes sense, but ya sure as hell can hire your way to success.

That level of play can win us Iowa, UCLA, and Wisconsin.

But the thing is the defense is gassed bc the offense isn't doing anything.  We were gassed against Illinois and from then on it has been down hill from there.  Our defense can only carry the team so far.

Looked to me that the Husker Defense was getting carved up from the first possession and never got better. Can't say they were gassed in the first quarter.

Well yeah.  And we've seen that before.  I'm saying that we're not meeting the on-field demands that we were in our 5 wins (to different degrees of course).  A gassed D is often that way for the simple reason that they have to drop their Gatorade and head back out to the field way too soon again.  Not always, of course;  it can also be for the reason that they did not prepare for the game, and/or could not muster the soul to go up against and win against their assigned man over there, as they did in previous games. 

The Nebraska program for the past few decades has been about being outplayed and out coached... this year we have a game that seems nostalgic with respect to those things.  Just one game (the Illinois game seemed like a pretty good fight in most ways).  The Indiana game seems to have  brought us all back to other coaches and other attitudes on the field.

That's true but what I mean by gassed is that they looked tired from the start not getting off blocks no pressure on the qb playing yards off the wr's to give them space.  No 🔥 at all.  I think the defense is spent imho.

 
The results of this poll are hilarious. It's a great visual representation of things that have plagued Nebraska football this year. 

Think Satt, Barthel, McGuire and Foley need to go. 

 
Satterfield was lost in his presser.  He doesn't know running the football is a priority.  He doesn't know what a good yards per play is.

It's clear what it says about him.  What now does it say about Rhule?

Chief Revenue Officer doesn't know sales targets and division quotas.  That speaks of the CEO too.

Its a giant cluster fu** here.  Over paid for a OC that is suppose to be in charge of the offense and is completely lost.

 
This schedule has 7 wins on it. To get the remaining two it's of course UCLA and then in my opinion it's 1/2 on Wisconsin & Iowa.

There is not even a question about whether there's enough talent to do this - unless we were to have some crazy injuries occur in the next 2. The coaches have to figure it out and get two more wins.

Assuming no major injuries there are just no excuses to not pick up two more wins.
