Here's mine:

1. Florida

2. Alabama

3. Texas

4. Boise St.

5. Houston

6. Cincinnati

7. TCU

8. Michigan

9. Oklahoma

10. Va. Tech

FWIW, I'd have the Huskers somewhere in my next 5.

I can see Cincy being in there but Michigan???

Also I think Boise State is one of the most overated teams this year.

#1 Florida - the best until someone beats them.

#2 Alabama - I have never really been that big on Alabama in recent years and Utah made them look ordinary last bowl season. The thing I see this year is that their defense is always good but now it looks like their offense can score some points which makes them dangerous.

#3 Texas - most I saw of them this year was against Texas Tech and was not that impressed. Do they look better then in other recent years? Will not be surprised to see them lose. They need to kick it up another level to win it all.

#4 Boise State - I think if they go unbeaten and there are no other unbeaten teams, they have a chance to play for all the marbles this year because there have already been so many top teams lose that they are primed to rise into vacated slots ahead of them.

#5 LSU - not sure they have the offense to be the best this year.

#6 USC - yes they took a bad loss but they have defense to compete with teams ranked ahead of them which means they can still beat teams ahead of them. Offense under freshman QB needs to do more for them to get above teams ahead of them.

#7 Oklahoma - I guess at the end of this thing OU and USC may have same excuse if they are left out of the big party...hey we only got beat because our QB's were injured! OU looks very strong still to me and I would categorize them with USC as capable of beating anyone.

#8 Virginia Tech - excellent defense...not sure their offense can beat teams ahead of them.

#9 Ohio State - solid but don't think they can get to highest level...teams ahead of them are better.

#10 Cincinnati - dark horse but would need to definitely be unbeaten to get serious look.

Michigan has been exciting to watch this year because of their close games but I think we would handle Michigan and don't think Michigan is top 10 this year.

1. Alabama - Hasn't really struggled, even vs VT

2. Florida - Tennesse performance keeping them from #1

3. Texas - Will jump up if they win vs OU

4. Va Tech - Inconsistent play, but has beat 2 top 20 teams in as many weeks

5. Oklahoma - BYU was a fluke, should be back on track now

6. USC - Carroll will have the Trojans in another BCS game

7. LSU - Barely escaped vs Miss State, enjoy the top10 while it lasts

8. Houston - 2 wins vs top Big 12 south teams, could be the best team in Texas

9. Boise St - perfect record, lack of scheduling keeps them from top 5

10. Ohio St - 2 straight shutouts since USC loss, final 3 v Penn St, Iowa and Michigan

11. Iowa - Sloppy passing game, but solid run game and excellent defense, plays Mich in 2 weeks

12. Kansas - Ressing is the captain of this Mangino ship, close call last week though

13. Cincinnati - see Boise State

14. TCU - I got nothing

15. Nebraska - Maybe a homer pick, but they'll be up here in a few weeks anyways.......
