For anybody looking ahead to next year, hopefully something will click with Martinez or Green. Don't be surprised if Brion Carnes beats one of the above two QB's out for 3rd string this fall and gets some meaningful snaps for next year. He's already thought of very highly by the staff, and as a passer he may be ahead of the others right now as well.

Keep in mind that with Bo and Carl directing the defense, the priority is a QB that can manage the game 1st and make things happen 2nd.

Well, if going "3 & out" for forever is our priority to manage the game we have tons of returning experience at qb.

 
Zach is going to be just fine this year. I would like to see T-mart and Green on 2nd/3rd and short with some decent play calling instead of a dive up the middle.

 
I hope Zac heals well and is a great QB. But Green has more raw talent. It remains to be seen whether Green exhibits the leadership qualities needed to be the next great QB. Shoot, it remains to be seen whether Green can beat out Zac.

But at least we have a bit of QB depth this year.

Obviously going 3 & out is not the plan; but you can't ask the team to do what they can't. As we saw last year, that is far from being just on the QB. It was even said that Lee was making the right reads. It's just that nothing was there, and that is on our WRs.
