I think that picture is hilarious, although, obviously exaggerated. Not sure how anyone could take that seriously. :confucius

Yeah, but the clock changes also reduced the number of plays, so it should be about even.
 
Hopefully Zaire brings some speed at the linebacker spot... but he ain't gonna help the D-line and their lack of push.

This isn't evidence that we are switching to it, but that it is in our back pocket. I can recall at least one time during UCLA and I think USM seeing us in a 3-4 look where they pulled either Merideth or Martin off the line and they became a 4th backer.

Bo was asked about it after practice this week sometime and mentioned possibly using it and having had practiced it. Said it's basically nothing new, kind of same thing we used against Misery couple years ago. It was on the husker radio show Sports Nightly where I heard it.

 
Whaley and Zaire both run a 4.6 40. He won't be bringing lightning speed to the field, but if he can wrap up behind the LOS I'll take it. Whaley could have 4-5 sacks right now.

 
Game speed vs. clocked speed. Maybe Anderson will have it and maybe he won't but look at Zac Lee. He was reported to run a 4.6 and there were reports that he smoked someone significant (can't remember who) in a footrace at practice before. He never looked like a 4.6 guy to me on Saturdays...

 
Good point. I just looked and Lavonte ran a 4.59 his senior year. Apparently it's not the best measurement for how a guy moves around the football field. Guess we'll find out tomorrow.
