  1. I totally agree.........the law doesn't really need to change........as I said in a previous post, do what Baton rouge does......build further away from the capitol. Mayor Seng wanted to build a 25 story tower where the now very ugly building called parkhaus sits. But some people cried like babies saying they didn't want a tall building obstructing their current views. If anyone give the slightest little whine the city backs down.
  2. It should be fable, cuz all limiting building height does is drive away opportunity and growth. Something this city does not understand when it keeps getting passed up in preference to other cities.
  3. No they aren't..........the city allows a building height of 285 feet. Currently none of our other buildings are of this height. US Bank building is 225 feet, so we can build higher.......its stupid the city doesn't take advantage of the maximum building height. All the city of Lincoln is doing is limiting itself of its opportunities and growth by restricting building height limits. All they have to do is follow Baton Rouges laws and build further away from its capitol building so as to not obstruct its view. Louisiana has the tallest capitol building in the nation.......not Nebraska.
