ok, I'm digging the idea of keeping the black helmets and switching up to black pants! I'm convinced the black helmets gave the defense the power they needed to close the game out...lol

At the very least, those black helmets gave Taylor Martinez the power to remember which team to throw to.

Ours were better then Wisconsin's. Taylor looked goofy with the white socks and shoes. Would have preferred all black.

I think he had the shoes on but his ankles were taped up so much it looked goofy.

Thought they looked good live...but...the numbers and lettering sucked. I sit 3rd row and couldn't make out many of the numbers and lettering.

The adidas logo stripes would flash red when they were hit w/ a bright light like a flashbulb. Camera flashes from sidelines and stands were so far away though that from where we were sitting you would only see it occasionally. It was strange, every now and then you'd see a red "spark" from someone's shoes.

OK. laugh at this but, I noticed that there has not been a significant change in the band uniforms for decades.

They are soooo 1950s.

A progressive program, as we wish to be, really should address this burning issue.

i don't have a problem the design per se, just the color scheme. black has no business on a nebraska uniform.

Black helmets were decent but what really was unique about this TTech like getup? Helmets could be WAY WAY cooler. How about a subtle graphic background?? Or a matte finish on the black helmet? Jerseys and pants were a yawner. Could have been worse (Wiscy). For a second I thought TTech was playing Indiana.

If we're going to do alternate uni's, channel our inner Oregon and do it right.
