Your thoughts on the game?

Zac was 17-21 tonight. Not bad. He didn't get a lot of yardage, but he was accurate and the receivers made the catches. That's what matters IMO.

Zac generally looked pretty good, our running backs did great, the front seven pressured Meyer, and Mo Purify had a big catch.

That, and we scored more points than the other team. Good work, Huskers.

Zac managed the game. That is what a QB needs to do in this offense. We had a different game plan but it worked. I thought the o line had a hell of a game. I didn't see them getting tired.

Great to see Glenn named player of the game for Nebraska. Well deserved!
I like how we played clock management. BC knew that if we didn't control it, Meyer would be on the field a lot more then he was tonight. Our D played well and I was especially pleased that Cosgrove blitzed the QB quite a bit tonight! Good win for us in the conference.
I have thought from day one that Glenn and Jackson were the 2 best. Lucky has no power and doesn't yards after contact.

The OL needs some Conditioning. They get tired every week.
HUH???!!! What game did you watch? We totally dominated on the OL tonight. The last 5 minutes our OL was knocking them back two yards a pop.
The game where the O stop moving the ball in the 3rd Quarter. I saw a few of them breathing hard. The last 5 minutes were against a tired Defense that knew they were beat. Kind of like the Blackshirts against USC.

Really it was the same game plan that we had against USC.

The second half had my fingers bleeding. A lot of questionable calls on both sides. Great running by C Train and BJax. Does anyone know why our secondary does not look back for the ball??? Is that a coaching thing? I was a baseball player and looked over my shoulder for a flyball. :dunno Still a win though.

Great game D was made the stops when needed. Possession was nice to see. Again just gives opponents something more to think about

A win is a win is a win is a win. Even better when it's on the road.

Defense played much better than last week, against a better offense.

Running game was working, if a bit over used. Few more passes would have been nice, But i'm not going to argue too much with a gameplan that wins on the road.

Also, Purify needs to be on the field every play he will draw a lot of attention. Even if they don't throw to him he is a great decoy

Go to the ESPN site and look at the drive chart for the 3rd and 4th Quaters.

the first 6 drives of the 2nd half had 5 times where they went 3 and out. The longest was 8 plays 38 yards.

The 7th drive was the final TD.

A few of the drives started deep in our own territory.

Deep or not, you need to move the ball. The OL was tired in the second half. Same thing the last few weeks. If they do the conditioning work with Morning runs and sprints after practice, they will start dominating start to finish.

Purify is the weapon NU has needed so badly. really opens things up.

was also nice to see the Nickle D.... lots and lots of young talent that will be getting used more each week!

ZT just continues to play within his ability.

Mizzu and UT are looming large.

OUTSTANDING GAME! The Huskers looked great on both sides of the ball. Zack Taylor had that great TD pass to end the 2nd quarter. Our offense lost some rythum there in the 3rd and begining of the 4th but our D stepped it up tonight and I couldn't of been happier. Cody Glenn had a terrific night and so did B. Jackson. The O-line did great opening up the holes for them. Like I said, great game and a great win for the Huskers. Hopefully they will move up in the polls this week and dominate K-State this saturday. GBR!
