Congrats to Creighton -- that's a huge conference upgrade. Who would of thought back in 2009 that the state of Nebraska would become Big Ten/Big East territory?
Yeah, AQ conference does not necassarily translate to power. Some one from Creighton just posted he is now attending school in a "power" conference. I thought power conferences played football? And will they get "travel" money?
i think when looking at bball alone, it will be considered a top-tiered program, whereas the MVC was a second-tired program, at best.huKSer said:Some one from Creighton just posted he is now attending school in a "power" conference. blue seems to be a popular color in bball in general.Other than St. John's and Providence, all of the schools' colors involve blue of some sort.
Not really that important, but just something I noticed.
I think the blue teams just happen to be better at basketball. Duke, UNC, Kansas, and others also play football in major conferences, but they just really stink.blue seems to be a popular color in bball in general.Other than St. John's and Providence, all of the schools' colors involve blue of some sort.
