I think Meyer has done a very nice job, as Pelini has, in handling these issues. You can't just kick off players instantly. Many times people are out to get players for the attention or potential for money.

 
There will be no charges filed against Hyde. That doesn't mean he's not out of Meyer's doghouse depending on what actually happened.

However, the video will be made public today, so I'm sure just like the media did, some people will see him hitting her, and others will see him not make contact.

She was also a 19 year old.......in a bar.......who went after him first.......maybe it was more if you don't want charges filed against you as well......then you might want to drop the charges.

Video is public. If you can see either person actually make contact, you have better eyes than an eagle. All I could tell was that both people involved raised their hands at some point.

 
Action is at about 3:16, although a girl from the group appears to motion for Hyde to come up at about 2:45 (looks like one of Hyde's loser friends was too chicken to approach the girls and got Hyde to do it. One of them called him up.) He appears to say something that they don't like at about 3:14 as he turns to leave and one girl takes a swing. He blocks it and come back with a love tap before walking away.

Seems like a typical situation of some drunk girl hearing something that she doesn't want to hear and thinking that it's ok to swing on someone. :hmmph
