If we gave extra credit for alliteration, you'd have extra credit here, mister.Join N our B1G discussion: our presitgious program's place in the nation's most historic conference.
Okay, thank Devaney! I read it as performance, not geographic. My bad, carry on.i am not sure why you facepalm'd, but i meant that geographically.Facepalm....we are becoming the hawaii of the big 10.What is so bad? Someone please explain.

As a Nebraska fan, how could you be happy? When Nebraska first joined they were playing the blue bloods of NCAA football like Michigan and OSU, plus there was a guaranteeed cross over rival with Penn State. What is so bad? Someone please explain.
In all fairness the Big XII and 90's realignment killed NU's best rivalry. The B1G just pulled a bait and switch on NU.As a Nebraska fan, how could you be happy? Now, the Big 10 has added two absolutely horrible football programs with Rutgers and Maryland, and abolished the crossover rival and created the weakest division in NCAA football in the west division.
Conference re-alignment has killed NCAA football, but more importantly to here, it has killed Nebraska football's rival events.
I think you can pretty much neglect saying "In all fairness" if you are following it up by stating "bait and switch" when you are talking about the same program. In all fairness the Big XII and 90's realignment killed NU's best rivalry. Its not that different. We only usually got 1 "Blue Blood" on the schedule from the Big XII. We alternated Texas and Oklahoma. No one else qualifies as a "Blue Blood"As a Nebraska fan, how could you be happy? And you know for a fact it's going to remain this way beyond the next year? 5 years? Decade? Century? The point I'm getting at is we've been here a measly 3 seasons now. Outside of football it's been pretty decent. But simply, no one knows jackshit how it'll turn out. This affiliation may be exactly what programs like Maryland and Rutgers need. Who knows. All I know is that all the bitching about how bad it is, my one question is: Overall, is the University of Nebraska better or worse of now than they were this time in 2010?As a Nebraska fan, how could you be happy?
