Beanman,

I use this website for any fishing info about places I have or have not been. There is a lot of activity on this board. Quick replies usually too.
Well that explains my lack of Walleye on Saturday LOL. That water is so frickin' murkey I'm guessing catfish is the way to go.

Put up a heck of a fight, but I finally got 'er reeled in.

Video from my most recent trip up north. You may not like the music as I had to make it somewhat tame since it's partly for my son. If any of you ever have a chance to do a houseboat trip, I highly recommend it, particularly on a big body of water like Rainy Lake. It was a blast and much better than renting a cabin or camping. We didn't catch any "big" fish like usual. Best fish were a 35" and 35.25" pike. We had a couple monsters follow up to the boat that would have been pushing 50" but they were too smart to hit. Lots of quality walleye in the 21-23" range were caught and the weather was beautiful for late September.

beanman wrapping up a portage on our way to Iron Lake, BWCA. This was in 2010 and one of my favorite days ever fishing.
