Garbage. First off, remember that that website is an SEC homer angle. The owner would put at least 10 SEC teams in the top 15 best jobs. And was arguing on twitter that Ole Miss and Miss State are better jobs.
To take shots at his points.
1 - Not having close recruiting is new because? Did Nebraska lose several million people in the last decade? And while Michigan and other rust belt schools are absolutely hurt by the movement of the population south, nothing has changed here. Other than a string of coaches who do not seem to want to use the old formula of having to develop players, and actually have a decent number of Nebraska kids on the roster to help fuel the passion.
Don't feed me the trash that Baylor and TCU can compete and we can't. Its just attitude from people in the warm sunny regions that can't comprehend that anyone lives where it snows.
2 - Sure, everyone is on TV. But there is still a difference between ABC or ESPN and ESPNU or CBSSN. And not all facilities are equal. Not quite as massive a gap as in the past, but come on, there is still a giant gap between the big spender programs and everyone else.
