That's becuase I see this place as having a pretty good core of regular posters, who without breaking the rules to say, usually rally up and run off a potential doosh bag before they have a chance of getting started. I like to think we have a pretty good eye for that stuff. And if youre someone like our beloved Hedley who puts up with and hunkers down and doesnt leave, well, they wind up having to change THEIR ways some in order to fit in. And he has.

 
This is a good site. Mods are on top of things without being overbearing. I've been on other sites in which you were harassed if you didn't pull the party line. No need to attach other people personally - just tells everyone else how small you are.

I am a new member. Been a Husker fan for 52 years. Loved Devaney and Osborne. Loved Frank as a player but recognized he was not the man for the HC job after losing TO recruits. Hated Peterson...knew him when he worked at AkSarBen...a worthless egotist then, who only got worse over time. He fired FS a year late...but since he delayed in 2002, he should have given FS another year, though I think FS was destined to fail as HC. Hated the Callahan hire all the way...though I think he actually had things coming around in 2005 and 2006 before losing the team after the USC debacle in 2007. I liked the Bo hire, finally realized he was destined to fail after the very first Wisconsin beat down we received in 2011. I am very relieved that we now seem to have a very competent, mature, capable and experienced staff.

I've been temporarily banned from another site for having my opinions and am hoping that the moderators on this site actually allow opinions and are not jackasses who enjoy "vacationing" folks for no reason at all. So...my question for the regulars here is...are opinions allowed here?

I'm not a regular poster here, lurked for a long while, post occasionally. I know of the board you've been banned from, and I'll just say there's no one here as obnoxious or irritating as "the colored rain" here. He claims to post here, but he must save his attitude to a place he has power. Knowing your style, I think you'd be good here.

Moiraine's very cool! She brings a fresh and different perspective to a lot of topics, which is great -- even if one of those topics is diversifying our visual stimuli, which is certainly one way of putting it

Welcome. Everyone has an opinion. For me, sometimes it's good enough just to read the discussions. I lurked in 04-05 before joining.

 
Just to let you know GFOA...

Huskerboard is a bazillion times better than Huskermax. Prepare yourself...you may crap your pants...
