Why does Banker want a Juco DB?

Let's not forget that Daniel Davie missed most of Spring with an injury. And Charles Jackson suffered his bazillionty-seventh injury as well.

We keep using the word "depth." I don't think that word means what we think it means.

 
We have a lot of bodies who play DB, that doesn't mean we have a lot of bodies who play DB well. Which means we probably aren't as deep there as we fans like to think

You're right. People keep thinking depth is about bodies. Not talent to get on the field.

 
Seeing Gerry, Davie, and Jackson out for the spring game might have freaked him out. Might not feel confident in guys with little/no experience.

 
Are we sure it's a CB and S and not "LB, CB, or S"?

Maybe somebody's leaving, maybe they feel they really need the depth there. It's definitely a curious move. I can't remember ever recruiting a JUCO for the current class at this point in the year. Let's see what happens.

 
Banker mentioned that he's "always looking for a LB" but this search is specifically for a DB. If he finds a LB while looking for a DB, all the better.

I think our depth is fine. Just feel someone will be moving in soon and a JUCO will be brought in to balance the roster.
