So why can't donut holes be sold in Nebraska?

I thought this was going to be a joke like "Why couldn't Langsdorf get into his house last night?"

Someone painted an endzone in front of the door.

The doughnut hole ban was only in the town of Leigh, Nebraska. It was stricken down in 1997 when a radio DJ did a "investigative report" of sorts for their radio show. Though there is no conclusive evidence it is widely thought in Leigh that the reason this law was on the books was because no practical homemaker should buy such a supurfulous & frivolous pastry.

4 years later, and this got a laugh.
Bad dad joke.
Whenever we’re in Lincoln driving down Vine or O street, by the cemetery, I tell this joke. The wife is on to it but it gets the kids every time.

Related to the cemetery, when I was a frat pledge in Lincoln (being hazed), we had a huge scavenger hunt my pledge class had to do. One of our tasks was to count the number of pickets around the cemetery. I don’t recall the number but it’s a huge cemetery running from O to Vine and about 36th to 42nd. Steel pickets about every 4”.

Holy Necro again.
