Fastest Freshman?

Gilleyen has been singled out by Coach Callahan and others as a true deep threat. I look forward to him hauling in numerous TD passes this year and in the future.
A few years ago so was Fluellen, but he popped a hammy every time he tried to run. Hopefully "The Cure" (that's my nickname for him since I can't remember how to spell Curinekickski Gillgnenhhleyn) does some stretches before he hits the field.
"The Cure." I LIKE it! I hope it sticks.

The Cure...........I hope so, especially at KR and PR.

Yeah being fast is great, lets just hope he can run his routes. Too many times these burners think that all they have to do is run fast. Except that anybody with a decent safety can still play over the top and the speed is wasted. We need a guy who is fast and can run crisp routes. Hopefully, some of the more experienced receivers and coaches will step up and instill in the newcomers the importance of proper route running.

I got to see him play in HS, he runs like a RB. He is built like and I-back, as is Paul and they are both very smart.

He is very hard to bring down by just one DB, thus you have potential for big plays on screens, slants, hitches and PR/KR.

Thanks....I thought it was pretty good?!?!

Word from the team is that not only is Curenski the fastest Freshman, but he's the fastest overall player on the team. The guy has speed to burn, folks. Him and Niles could very well be the best WR tandem in the whole nation by the time that they're both starters.
Yeah....um....let's not get too far ahead of ourselves.

yeah, first let's see if he can catch the ball, consistently. speed without hands is not much help as a receiver.
